Small ringfort, very close to the road. The earthen bank is quite badly eroded in places, though it does retain some of its stone facing. There are probable entrances to the northwest and southeast.
A rather forlorn and neglected ringfort, badly eroded but with good views down into the valley. It is a secretive place, worth looking for just to wander up the tiny road it faces on to - the banks were full of wildflowers when I visited- violets, bugle, foxgloves, St Patrick's cabbage, euphorbia, primroses, bluebells - very other worldy and remote.
